Wish you were here holding me near
But things have changed
There's nothing left now
But memories that stay here in my heart
Those precious times
We shared when we cared
Means so much to me
Though it's all in the past
From the pain I learned more of life
That love is alive
And will be part of me
All my life
When will the pain ever be over
When will new hope rise from within
Giving me strength to start all over
And make me feel that life's worth living for
I'll never let myself
Be pulled down by this loneliness
